Welcome to Aeroklubben and Säve Flygplats / Göteborg City Airport!
At this page you find necessary information for pilots prior to your visit.Karta_3

Göteborg Säve Airport is a busy, non controlled airport. Remember to monitor the frequency and that Police/Ambulance/SAR helicopters always have priority when called on alarms.

Important read before visit:



If you are visiting the airport you are more than welcome to visit our clubhouse for a cup of Swedish coffee a bite to eat (cash payment only) and a chat .

Opening hours:

Visiting aircraft are welcome to arrive and depart between 0800 and 1800LT. Please refer to NOTAM for any deviation.


Required for all aircraft not based at ESGP.  Call +46 (0)31 92 72 36 (0800-1800LT)

Please consult all airport charts (VAC etc.) carefully before flight. Due to noise sensitive areas in vicinity of the aerodrome special VFR approach and departure routs, holdings and traffic circuits are established.

Fuel: (Shell aviation)

100LL: Fuel station positioned on the southern part of the apron at near twy E. Self-service, card payment.

JETA1: Request refueling from operation. Refueling from truck at stand.

Restaurant and Hotels:

At Nolvik Konferens next to airport. 2 minutes walking.

Bus:  Västtrafik   (Bus stop Säve Flygplats).


Before departure visit the traffic office at the terminal to pay your expenses etc.

The airport: 

Gothenburg City Airport (ICAO: ESGP) is located only 15 kilometers north from the Gothenburg city center on the island of Hisingen. Previously, this was a military airport, but today it is a non controlled civilian airport. The traffic is a mix of GA and SAR/Police/Ambulance helicopters.
